Trains, Taxis and Opportunists


Anyone who is familiar with the main railway line between Birmingham and Manchester will also be familiar with the black metals horse shapes that are positioned at various places along the track between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton. Lonely Planet – from ashes to good thinking!


The Icelandic ash cloud provoked many creative reactions – for example, I had a good laugh when I stumbled upon the facebook group named “Don’t mess with Iceland, they’ll shut your airports down”.
